|We follow the core concepts of the RIE philosophy where the foundation is respect. We respect every child as a unique individual with their own needs and boundaries. We communicate to foster respect and trust. We find that infants, even very young in age, are intelligent and learn at a rapid rate. Our methods not only help us to build stronger bonds, but help them in their interaction with other children. We find when we speak in a calm respectful manner they learn to respect others as well.|

Special Center | Site Features
|We have 3 primary outdoor classrooms and 2 shared bike yards that feature picnic tables for eating, music walls, sandboxes, playhouses, climbing structures, a creek, dirt/mud pits, gardening and water is accessible at all times. Each outdoor classroom has learning areas for loud play, quiet play, messy play, creative art and plenty of space to run! We have our pet “Tonka” in the garden, he loves it when the children share their harvest with him. Our programs offer a healthy food program which is included in tuition. Our chef makes 3 healthy meals each day and has cooking classes every other week with a small group of children.||Our program is play based, meaning we allow children ample amounts of time during their day to explore and play outdoors! The children and teachers take care of their environment together. The children help their teachers in weeding, raking and making their environment a place of beauty. We consider ourselves a second family in which we support the families we serve while they are enrolled and beyond when their children graduate and move onto kindergarten or transition kindergarten.|
