Philosophy Statement

Our philosophy here at Discoveries Learning Centers is based on respect and appreciation for each child and family that we serve.  We are committed to providing a high quality program that is developmentally appropriate for all of the ages we serve.  We recognize the importance of respectful, reciprocal, and responsive relationships with caring adults as the basis of learning and optimal development. We embrace the importance of maintaining “Outdoor Classrooms” with the belief that that all children need and benefit from more time outdoors.  When teachers provide comprehensive activities outside, to meet the social, emotional, cognitive, physical and creative aspects of child development, they create the optimal growing and learning environments for young children.

We recognize the importance of respectful, reciprocal, and responsive relationships with caring adults as the basis of learning and optimal development.
